Dear GW Families,
We are so excited to welcome you back for the 2024-2025 school year! The first day of school is quickly approaching on Wednesday, September 4th. We ask that you please review the information below so that you and your child(ren) can have a great start to the new year! A summary of need-to-know information is listed below, more details can be accessed digitally here.
GW is located at 67 Wall Street, Kingston, NY. Our entrance for E1 (grades 1, 2, 3), 4th grade, and walkers is on 67 Wall Street by the Auditorium Entrance. Children House (UPK-K) will be dropped off at 8:45am by their assigned classroom door by the side parking lot of 67 Wall Street.
Drop-off location and time: All students should be dropped off between 8:30-8:45. Teachers will begin to pick up their class at 8:45 am.
Pick-up location and time: E1 (1, 2, 3), and walkers are picked up in the auditorium at 67 Wall Street at 3:00 pm. 4th Graders are picked up by the gym doors at 3:00pm. Children House (UPK-K) are picked up by their designated doors. UPK 3 and 4 are picked up at 2:00pm and Kindergarten is picked up at 3:00pm. Our supply lists can all be found by clicking “Welcome to GW” or scanning the QR code above. Breakfast and Lunch are free for GW School students.
Breakfast will be served to students starting at 8:30am. Please come in through the 67 Wall Street entrance to enter for breakfast. They will enjoy breakfast in the cafeteria. Lunch, both hot (changes daily) and cold choices will be available each day.
If your child is absent, please be sure to send them in with an excuse note when they return to school. If your child is late to school, please walk them into the school at 67 Wall Street so that we can ensure they arrive safely to their classroom.
